Being Green Connects our Heart to Mother Earth

Happy Earth Day Everyday!

Guiomar Campbell:

Green is the most predominant
color on the planet
and contains the
powerful energies of nature
and mother earth.

The energy that comes from
nature and mother earth
balances all aspects of life.

Green is the color of
life and fertility.

It also balances the vibrations
of the nervous system,

helping  nerve cells
communicate with each other
to improve body’s health
and Qi energy.

According to traditional Indian medicine, green is the color of the heart chackra, The Sanskrit name for this chakra is Anahata, which means “sound”.

When the sound“Ah” is pronounced , it creates vibrational frequencies in the heart centre and that represents high consciousness and love.

Chakras are said to be  the force centers” or wheels. There are seven primary energy centers in the human body responsible for directing the flow of Qi energy. The heart chakra acts as the balance point for all the chakras.

Saleena Note: There are many variations of chakra numbers and placements. Drunvalo Melchizadek in his book, Ancient Secrets of the Flower of Life book 2,

…suggests that whatever one you want to use, depending on your consciousness, stick with that one. There are paths to higher consciousness to found in the chakras.

The heart chackra sits in the sternum in the center of the breastbone and on the posterior spine between shoulder blades.  It also related to the lungs, breasts and circulatory system.

The chackras are related to endocrine system and each chackra is related to a particular gland. The heart chackra is related to the thymus gland. The thymus gland secrets hormones that regulate the immune system. It is related to growth and nutrition similar qualities of mother earth.

When our heart chackra is shut down we become disassociated and tend to withdraw from others.  When it is balanced we accept ourselves and accept others.

In my practice I often meet women with obsessive feelings of been unloved  or not been good enough or even frustrated for not having enough or in some way, limited. Their emotional state greatly affect their heart chackra and their motherhood qualities of nourishing themselves, consequently affecting their sexual energy and their ability to conceive.

The smell of essential oils help them to quickly react with joy and spontaneously forget their thoughts.

Oils such as bergamot, ylang ylang, lavender, jasmine, geranium and neroli are associated with love and can be beneficial to the heart. The fragrance of the oils is known to bring the feeling of compassion and forgiveness.

Essential oils can help you to balance and heal emotional issues around grief, depression, fear, sadness, feelings of despair or anger.

The sense of smell is  one of the five senses directly linked to the limbic lobe in the brain also known as the emotional control centre. All the emotions originates in this region. The scent of a special fragrance can actually invoke feelings and memories before we even become aware of it.

As Gary Young, one of the pioneers in researching essential oils said, the inhalation of essential oil not only combat stress but it can also  stimulate the production of hormones from the hypothalamus, our hormonal control centre, that affects everything from sex drive to energy level.

An imbalance of the Heart Chakra can also lead to upper back and shoulder problems and often I see the relation between emotional heaviness  and pain between shoulder blade and chest.

According to Barbara Brennan author of Hands of Light, issues concerning love and nurturing affect the health of a woman’s breasts leading to more severe physical dysfunctions such as breast cancer.

She also mentioned that the heart chakra is very important in spiritual healing.

When the heart center
opens wide,
it becomes the channel for
universal love.
The Higher Self,
or immortal divine soul,
is able to work through it.

It may explain why the
heart is called the
seat of the soul.

Traditional Chinese Medicine theory also believes that the heart houses the spirit or “shen” and plays key roles in regulation of emotions. Heart is the governor of all the meridians and it keeps the spirit in place.

Nourishing & Nurturing our Heart
is the most powerful gift
we can give to ourselves & others.

As various mystics are saying it will keep us in the path of bein Healthy, wealthy and wise.

Do- In to Nourish Heart

This exercise will bring you emotional release, relax your chest, improve anxiety, relieve tenderness in the breast and increase your energy level.

– Standing foot shoulder width apart.

Take a big breath in with your nose, with the tip of your tongue touching behind the upper tooth.

As you exhale pronounce the sound “Ah”, which is the sound of the heart chackra.

– With the four fingers of both hands, tap CV 17 point, located in the middle of the sternum between the two nipples. This point stimulates the thymus gland and opens heart energy.

– Continue tapping this point for 3 minutes as you pronounce the sound of love “Ah”.

If you prefer you can also repeat the word Love, Love, Love

Finish by saying thank you to your heart and chest area.

Repeat this exercise everyday twice a day.
